Cornish Hens, Latkes & Crescent Rolls

For this holiday episode I’m trying not to swear, even while roasting hens and flipping latkes. Nate and Dusty walk me through clean comedy and old drinking days.
Cornish Game Hens
Ingredients:
- 2 Cornish hens
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh rosemary and thyme
- 1 lemon, halved
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Rub hens with oil and seasonings. Stuff with herbs and lemon.
- Roast for 50–60 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F.
Potato Latkes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded potatoes
- ½ cup shredded onion
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup flour
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
Steps:
- Squeeze out moisture from potatoes and onion. Mix with eggs, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Drain on paper towel.
Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated crescent dough
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll dough into crescents and place on baking sheet.
- Brush with melted butter. Bake 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
